The customer complains that even though 'Unlock Required' (GTW_w358_unlockRequiredForStart) is displayed in the instrument cluster, the vehicle can be started through pressing the brake pedal without unlocking it through the key fob or phone first.
This alert appears when all of the following conditions are present:
- Passive Entry is disabled.
- Drive rail is OFF (vehicle is not started).
- No key fob unlock command was seen by the vehicle in the last 5 minutes.
